Topsail Island Community Information
Topsail Island (pronounced Tops’l) seems caught in a time warp as it still retains the air of the classic small family beach resort, a place with few commercial trappings whose devotees return generation after generation. The 26-mile long barrier island is located between Wilmington NC and Jacksonville NC and consists of three towns: North Topsail Beach, Surf City, and Topsail Beach. The island is accessible by an old-fashioned swing bridge in Surf City and a modern high-rise bridge in North Topsail Beach.

North Topsail Beach
Located at the Northern end of the island and located in Onslow County, North Topsail is known as “the quiet end” of the island. Many amenities are sprinkled throughout the town, such as the neighborhood park, which boasts a picnic shelter, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, a nature trail, rest room facilities and a gazebo with a breathtaking view of the sound. The tip of the island is a popular fishing area and beautiful golf courses are minutes away.
Surf City
